Risca Foodbank has a permanent collection point food bin for food donations for “IN-STORE SHOPPERS ONLY” situated in the exit foyer at Tesco Extra, Risca. We would like to stress that this permanent collection point is for those donors that shop in the store at Tesco only.
Any other food donation that has been purchased in a different store and brought to the permanent collection point at Tesco must be “SEALED” by the donor and clearly labelled “NOT PURCHASED IN TESCO”!!
However for those donors who shop in other stores, Risca Foodbank have other collection points situated inside “Morrisons” Store – Rogerstone, inside “Aldi” Store which is situated off the interchange roundabout between Risca & Rogerstone and inside “One Stop” Store in Risca. These donation areas can be used for any food donation from those that do not purchase food in Tesco. Please do NOT use the Tesco permanent bin unless you have purchased from Tesco directly.
The Foodbank is also open from 9.30am till 11am every Tuesday and Friday mornings for donations at The Salvation Army, 66a Commercial Street, Pontymister, Risca, NP11 6BA or call 07599 973312 for home collection.
